There are 4 suggestions to question “Is it worth it to build a steel framed house?”

  1. There are no such disadvantages of building a steel framed house. Steel framed houses withstands heavy weather and rightly suits any kind of climate. In terms of safety and durability too, steel framed houses and steel roofing houses is exactly the right choice. But make sure to choose the fine quality steel products because not all stores offer frames with the right quality and strength. 2. They are impervious to termites.

  3. If you’re willing to spare the expense of steel, you’re better off just going with bricks or other more solid material. Simply adding on mass will protect and insulate your house. That said, steel is not really a disadvantage compared to wood–that’s why they use it in larger buildings, where wood would never be strong enough.

Edit: You’ll still have to add insulative chemicals or sheets, unless you want to go the "earth ship" route and turn your house into a hill. But it does work better than wood.

  4. ==== if you are in a flood zone or a tornado corridor … MOVE …. a steel frame is good if you are in a very stable area no bad weather or earth quakes …. conventional construction is best ….
