hi Michelle
techinically there is no way to know this – prices can rise at different rates each year and we never know when they will drop.
however in the last 40 years the average property has increased in Value by 10% per annum. Working on this basis in 5 years time the property will be worth apprx £161,000.
the second part of the question i don’t know the answer to, however check out house prices on the net or paper and that should tell you if £100,000 is enough.
5 million pounds.
£195,000…£225,000
5% a year gain average, max.
unless you are in a flood zone.
id say that it would be worth about £25,000 in five years so to save you any loss i’ll give £50,000 for it now
5 years is too big of a window to determine what your market is. If your market is on an incline right now, then you can most likely estimate your market value to increase. The best way to estimate this is to anually evaluate what the houses surrounding your area within a one mile radius are selling for and estimate your home’s value based on those comparable sales prices.
5 bob…
It depends on the market in five years time
If it goes up or down
I think the lastest rounds of interest rate rise’s are going to hit the housing market quite hard
My magic 8 ball says 1 million dollars.
You do realize this is impossible to answer.
